I’ve recently completed a PhD in Machine Learning and celebrated by backpacking the Americas for a year. My specialism was incorporating restrictions to complex models enforcing fairness in outcomes. I was asked to join the PhD program after winning awards during my bachelors degree for ‘Outstanding Computer Science student’ and ‘Best AI Project’. During the PhD I became an expert in Python + PyTorch. Alongside the PhD, I led two teams of the consulting arm of our research group, turning a problem description into a working product. I have previous commercial experience in the Enterprise Cloud Platform and Data Architecture teams at a blue chip company. Prior to university I worked in residential property sales.
