IntensiChem focuses on high performance continuous hydrogenation. Its high performance fixed bed approach increases yields and reduces impurities. Optimised process conditions and catalyst re-generation strategies significantly increase the amount of material that can be obtained for every g of catalyst.

I began work at Pfizer manufacturing in the summer of 1995 as an analytical chemist in the raw materials section of the quality operations department. In 2001 I moved to the Chemical Process Improvement Laboratory, where I learnt the skills necessary for pharmaceutical chemical process development. Due to my analytical background, in 2004 I took on the role of Process Analytical Technology Champion for the Sandwich manufacturing site. In 2006 I additionally took on the role of Manufacturing Technology site champion and finally in 2007 I was awarded the Pfizer 'Global Technology and Innovation award' to recognise my efforts in continuous photochemistry and wet milling.
