As a Cass Business School graduate with a degree in Business and Finance, I have had the opportunity to gain a range of experiences and skills across different industries. My interest in finance led me to an internship with a private equity house in Hamburg, where I was able to assist with the disposal of a manufacturing company in their portfolio. During this internship, I learned about financial analysis, due diligence, and deal structuring. My experience at the private equity house was followed by a summer internship at Commerzbank Private Bank Sales in the Equities and Derivatives Division. During my time at Commerzbank, I was responsible for market analysis and provided support to the sales team. I gained valuable experience in building relationships with clients, conducting research on market trends, and analyzing the performance of different financial products.In addition to my finance-related experiences, I have also spent several years working as a co-founder of a startup in the digital space, where I gained experience in project management, coding, and digital marketing. As a project manager, I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company, including idea creation, design, development, and testing. Outside of my professional experiences, I have a passion for community development, which I was able to pursue during my time in high school by volunteering in Ghana to help build a school. This experience taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and adaptability, and reinforced my desire to make a positive impact in the world.Most recently, I had the opportunity to work with a German investment consortium in the lead-up to and after the purchase of a Scottish football club. As an investor representative, I worked on the ground in Scotland, overseeing the transition of ownership and improving relationships with the fans. My role involved everything from big-picture changes to small details, such as assisting in a managerial change, organizing fan events and improving the overall match day experience.Overall, my experiences and skills across different industries, including finance, digital marketing, project management, and community development, have allowed me to develop a unique perspective and skillset. My interests in football, finance, and technology continue to drive my passion for innovation and making a positive impact.
