Lead Interior Trim & Biw Engineer - 18My Jaguar F-TypePenso Dec 2014 - Oct 2016Coventry, United KingdomWorking as an Body Engineering lead/PMST I have delivered a variety of components within Cabin Trim, Seating, Instrument Panel and also a few brackets and BIW changes until Final Design Judgement gateway. I also managed the integration of components into the IP complex commodity line with Draexlmaier for the 18MY Jaguar F-Type. Responsible for components from concept to production, leading a team of design and CAE engineers and liaising with tier 1 suppliers and other departments to meet engineering, legal and customer requirements including cost and weight targets. I extensively used RMDV, DFMEA, Aims2, WERS, CATIA, TeamCentre along with numerous other tools, taking the Trim components all the way through to PSW and successfully delivered in time for the TT gateway.

I gained proficiency in design for manufacture, delivering quality solutions to industry standards, later leading design reviews and liaising with customers before moving into a Lead Engineer role.
