- Obtain quotations from qualified and reliable suppliers to arrive at the best price, best quality and best terms for the requirement of the company-Perform document control and document management on all purchasing documents prior to processing or forwarding to other departments.- Ensure the delivery of the purchased materials with correct specifications to the requesting department /project site on or before the required delivery date.- Interact with suppliers/contractors and maintain good relations.-Conduct site visits to existing suppliers - to negotiate on terms and to check on quality compliance.- To be familiar with all types of suppliers of goods and services and negotiating techniques related to purchasing.- Making a Strategic Planning for Procuring process and start bidding to supplier to get a reasonable and fix price for the requirements in specific length or quarter in purchase.- Preparing documents for Importation of materials.- Sourcing and accredit new suppliers to make our contact to be widen, build good relation and to have other option in procuring items.- Attend trade fairs to seek out and accredit additional suppliers and to negotiate on terms.- Prepare contracts for Subcontractors and negotiate contract price.- Submit reports, procurement history, and present trend cost of materials needed and requested by Management.

My responsibilities include dispatching and receiving all deliveries in our plant. Since I am also a maintenance staff my job is to canvass and purchased parts for all our truck and vehicles used by our company, I am the one talking to the supplier through call and personal. I am also expose in canvassing finding a new supplier and negotiating about terms of payment.
