Data Scientist and engineer, working on projects with the aim to extract meaningful knowledge from diverse data sources. In my professional career I have been working with many different data sources such as spatial and semi-structured data, and I have extensive knowledge in data analytics and visualization. Special focus of my research work is building efficient and scalable pipelines for Big Data analysis using Apache Spark framework. For data analytics tasks I use programming languages Python and Scala, with specially designed libraries for Machine Learning and Graph analysis. At the time, I am conducting the PhD research related to connectivity and mobility data analysis, spatial clustering and predictive learning. I hold a master degree in engineering, and I am working on my PhD thesis "Big Data analysis applied in space-time human dynamics research".
