Where there were specific dependencies to have the on-premise infrastructure, I deployed virtualised servers using Hyper-V nodes in failover clusters, backed up by cloud-based DR for an additional layer of resilience.I also worked with a furniture manufacturer to migrate the majority of their infrastructure to the cloud resulting in a hybrid infrastructure due to the requirement to hold CAD data on-premise, what was left on-premise was hosted across a VMWare cluster with each node in a physically separate building for virtual and physical resiliency.
