My responsibilities are primarily to ensure we have a very strong marketing services and print production capability and meet our commitments to customers and clients. This includes oversight of many aspects of the business including:• Design, production and distribution of 26 issues of the Little Blue Book printed directories covering 50 towns and regions around Bristol and the South West• Development and growth of the Local Pages online directory especially SEO, and techniques such as link building that increase our online presence, attracting or driving more visitors to our website.• Website design and hosting for clients• Managing the design studio – overseeing the day to day running such as pagination of our directories and leaflet design • Print management – supervising our digital print service for print on demand, litho print for short runs and web print services for larger print jobs and making sure deadlines are meet• Distribution – where we have a delivery partnership with Royal Mail for the Little Blue Book and for client campaigns• Internal systems, to strengthen and develop our IT, using innovative hardware and software for design, print and operations, including PCs, Phones, • Business Apps such as our CRM system to improve customer relations and productivity in marketing and sales• Review working practices to meet and exceed user and business needs • Partnerships with complementary marketing service providers, such as our partners for Facebook, Google and SEOClient examples where I’ve been heavily involved:• Directories – we have literally thousands of local businesses advertising in our Little Blue Books• Online – we are growing our online directory rapidly, with successes in many areas and sectors , such as Estate Agents• Local Marketing – our expertise in this niche has won us clients outside the South West, such as a Recruitment Company in LondonPlease connect and let’s make contact if you feel I can help your marketing
