Interested in how we can deliver inclusive growth in a way which both addresses the climate emergency and fosters local community and sense of place. I’m an a qualified architect with experience working across cultural, workplace, industrial, residential and masterplanning sectors. Key to every project has been finding the alignment in which each project can address the challenge of the climate emergency within the priorities of the project. Examples include:- A temporary HQ and manufacturing facility for an automotive company where we were able to achieve 47% of expenditure classed as circular to minimise waste and maximise the reuse value of expenditure.- A brief for a timeless contemporary interpretation of a Georgian country house constructed from local stone and straw cassettes to target net zero (embodied and operational)- A 20 storey vertical extension onto an existing office building by extending structural legs through 4 atria to maximise lettable floorspace in a way that avoided demolishing a 30 year old buildingI try to place equity, diversity and inclusion at the heart of my work, and fundamentally believe that we are only able to succeed collectively when we’re all able to succeed.
