I am a Principal Consultant at Thoughtworks Enterprise Modernization, Platforms, and Cloud (EMPC). We are a group of Subject Matter Experts that specialize in Platform Engineering. We have designed and built what we call Delivery Infrastructure, our opinionated take on Platform Engineering, and rolled it out to multiple large enterprises with continued success. I lead 3 teams, DevOps, SRE, and Infrastructure Engineering. We built and maintain a highly available private cloud Kubernetes platform from scratch using OSS, serving 200+ developers and millions of requests per day. We also develop and maintain aws/azure terraform self-service modules for teams to adopt and use.

Built the NA tech capability team from scratch with Paul Welty. Hired, managed, and trained Junior-Senior engineers. Taught and built architecture practices. I designed and built custom web, mobile and hybrid mobile applications for fortune 100 enterprises. I built scalable architectures and microservices leveraging tools like Docker and Node.js for enterprises that serviced millions of requests per minute.

Architecture Development/Design, Node.JS, Ionic Framework (1, 2, and 3), Mobile Development, Code Review Training, Postgresql, RethinkDB. Clients all Atlanta area.

Developed and wrote features for Ionic Auth, a cloud based Oauth service. Built and maintained Ionic Cloud Typescript library used by thousands of developers.

I developed the following for clients: CI/CD (circleci, vsts), Event Driven Push Notification apis, Node.JS MicroServices, AngualrJS, Cordova, ElasticSearch, Ionic Framework, Azure Infrastructure and Microservice deployments and deployment management. Designed and built apis that serviced 100k+ customers for multiple clients with high levels of traffic demand.

My failed startup. Built a custom CI/CD platform for Cordova applications.

Rotation 1 - April - August 2013Test Engineer on the newly founded Continuous Integration Team: Worked on test automation suites in Java, Groovy, Junit, C++, and SQL validation, as well as designed and developed an in house testing application (that is still in use).Rotation 2 - January - August 2014Developer on a new Hybrid Mobile App team. We developed a new MVP for the Supply Chain world, for which I used Cordova, JavaScript, Sencha Touch, REST, and other technologies. Also, assisted in the founding of a new product team (which spawned from the MVP), for which I designed and implemented the testing strategy for the new product (using Unit Testing and Jenkins automation).

Contributed to the SIMS wildfire simulator (used by real firefighters in west NA).
