Management and editorial strategy- Oversee the TED Talk publishing schedule and set internal production priorities for teams including Video, Research and Design- Lead on high-profile TED Talk releases; run communications with speakers’ teams; manage speaker relationships before, during and after talk publication- Coproduce "TED Talks Daily" podcast, one of the most-downloaded podcasts in the world- Manage roster of freelance writers- Define and implement editorial strategy; shape and reinforce the voice of messaging from TEDWriting and editing- Publish TED Talks each weekday for promotion across TED.com, YouTube, mobile app, newsletters and podcast platforms- Write headlines and descriptions for all TED Talks, informed by A/B tests, insights from Analytics team and knowledge of audience- Copyedit and provide editorial input on the TED Talks Daily newsletter- Assist in running TED Blog, including the publication of live event recaps, product launches and moreCross-team editorial collaborations- Assist event marketing efforts by writing and editing speaker profiles, attendee messaging, program guides and conference landing pages- Troubleshoot with Tech team about issues related to TED.com and mobile app; collaborate around the development and implementation of updates to those properties- Partner with other internal initiatives to develop and implement editorial strategies
