CurrentThe primary goal and purpose of my position are to ensure the proper execution of security-related tasks to safeguard the population and maintain public order and tranquillity, as well as to ensure smooth coordination during votes and elections.My role as Head of Security Department at the Municipality of Ittigen in Bern encompasses the following responsibilities:-Providing both professional and personnel leadership within the security department.-Managing projects, particularly those concerning traffic safety and civil protection-Task and financial planning for the security department, including overseeing a global budget of approximately CHF 800k, as well as monitoring performance through key indicators.-Developing initiatives and executing municipal duties related to traffic safety, stationary/mobile traffic, public safety and order, signage, parking management, and civil protection-Offering guidance and support to authorities such as the Municipal Council and the Security Commission-Incorporating public safety aspects into political agendas-Taking primary responsibility for the organization and execution of elections and referendums.-Granting permits for public and private events and implementing security measures accordingly
