My career started with an apprenticeship as a Biology Laboratory Technician at Hoffmann-La Roche, Basel, Switzerland. For several years I worked in this profession before I started the flight training at Swissair to be an airline pilot.After I passed the ATPL (A) exam, I flew on different aircraft types, but realized my work appeal is more ground related.During further education in marketing & sales I gained theoretical knowledge on these topics and learned my practical skills as Director of Marketing at a Switzerland based Airline. Afterwards I worked for several years as a Charter Sales Manager at different Business-Jet companies and sold many flights successfully.During the years I got into the Aircraft Management environment and led a small team (5 Key Accountant Managers) worldwide. Together we managed 18 aircraft. At international trade-shows we represented our products and acquired new customers.Parallel to the Aircraft Management work, I did the Master degree in Organization Management and I continued to stay in touch with a wide range of contacts in the Aviation industry.In my role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) I lead the Marketing, Sales & Customer-Care departments, plus the Network- & Revenue- Management teams. I was instructed to develop new focus-cities and new routes to different destinations in order to increase the passenger volume. Also I was heavy involved in the recruiting process to get more employees for the airline.My current challenges at one of the largest security companies in Switzerland are multiplex. On the one hand I am the new operations manager of GSD Gayret Security AG and on the other hand I am still the strategic project manager of the DARU Group. In my function, I actively support the DARU management in setting up the holding structure.Currently, it is about the implementation of the newly purchased GSD company and to manage all employees in the services "stationary traffic, traffic & precinct services" under the new DARU IT-structures.My outlook is to continue to deliver high quality work, even with the current heavy workload and demand on my support.
