From a wide-eyed graphic design graduate to well-seasoned creative director, my career has taught me that everyday brings a new learning experience, and it is this that drives my personal development and creative expertise. Although my role has changed somewhat over the years, my genuine passion for design has remained strong. Given the opportunity I very much enjoy rolling up my sleeves and getting stuck into the more practical aspects of the job, which is important to keep an attachment to what I love. My hands-on approach, coupled with 16 years’ industry experience is an invaluable resource to the team. Every project, no matter how simple or complex, is a new challenge and there is nothing more rewarding than finding a creative solution to the problem.I lead a creative team of skilled designers and artworkers, we share the same impeccable standards and a real eye for detail when it comes to visualising and developing a concept. One of the most important challenges I face, and will continue to face in my career, is the ability to energise my team and give them the freedom and inspiration they need to develop as creative individuals.In my years as a designer, creative director and business owner, above all else, I understand the value of a relationship based on mutual trust, openness and honesty. It is these simple values, combined with my hands on approach, creative ability and industry experience that have formed the basis of many strong creative partnerships.

With over 16 years’ experience in the industry I have been the creative lead behind a vast range of projects for clients large and small, local and international. From brand creation and development to the generation of integrated campaigns for major retail companies, B2B and B2C clients. We have become the preferred supplier to regional clients such as the University of Northampton and St Andrew’s Healthcare to B2B Super-brand the British Standards Institution and FTSE 100 company Capita.More recently on a global stage I have gained valuable experience working with large businesses and corporations within the Middle East for brands including Oman Sail, The Wave Muscat, Oman Air, Muscat Municipality and the Oman Ministry of Tourism.Role and ResponsibilitiesMy role as Creative Director is defined primarily by three distinct areas of direction: design, artistic and creative, over which I have many responsibilities, these include:• Creative decision making• Design and artistic direction• Directing and supervising a team of creatives, designers and artworkers• Ensuring that a high quality of creative and production is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards for both myself and my team• Delivering integrated communication solutions that help our clients attain their marketing and communications objectives• Account management - listening, questioning, prioritising and translating the client’s situation, marketing goals and information into strategic brand concepts, voice, messages and rationales• Project management - overseeing the execution of projects from conception through to launch• Business development and sales
