I am a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer and Geologist with a background in geological mapping from my experience working at an underground copper mine in Cobar and conducting field work in Broken Hill. Since starting at EDG I have gained experience in site investigation and temporary works/construction phase support, developed my skills in soil logging, in-situ testing and ground model development, and carried out bearing capacity and slope stability assessments for temporary and permanent structures. I have planned and coordinated site investigation for projects in Victoria and interstate involving test pits, dynamic cone penetration testing and sampling. Additionally, I have provided temporary works support through bored pile and CFA pile observation, trench stability assessment, underground services impact assessments and global stability assessments. I am further developing my rock mapping abilities through observation of cut slopes in varied geological settings in New South Wales and Queensland, including mapping of unit contacts, joint sets and possible hazards and developing 3D models in Leapfrog using surface mapping and borehole data.
