With the flip of the calendar into 2023, I started a new role with TrackTown USA as Senior Manager of Partnerships & Media Operations.This new fulltime role will continue my 20+ year career of media operations at Hayward Field and expand into finding opportunities for local businesses and organizations to connect with TrackTown USA’s mission and overall portfolio of events.I’m hopeful the momentum of the World Championships at Hayward Field last year will carry in 2023 and many years come.This summer TrackTown USA will bring four national and global events to Hayward Field:- Nike Outdoor Nationals (June 15-18) – The top high school track and field athletes will come to Hayward Field to stake their claim as the best in the country.- USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships (July 6-9) – The Journey to Gold for Team USA again runs through Oregon as this event will select the team for the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest.- USA Track & Field Junior Olympic Championships (July 24-30) – Thousands of youth athletes between the ages of 7 and 18 will compete at Hayward Field for the right to be called a National Junior Champion.-Nike Prefontaine Classic (September 16-17) – The Pre Classic moves to the fall this year as we host the Diamond League Final to wrap up the professional outdoor season. Back in middle school my summer job was mowing lawns… This summer I’m trading in a weed wacker for a mixed zone. 😊 I'm delighted to join the Press Services team at the Olympic Stadium for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic & Paralympic Games. The eyes of the world are focused on Athletics / Track & Field more than ever before and I look forward to helping the global media tell the stories of this year's Olympians and Paralympians!We’re even going to throw some Rugby 7s into the mix here at the Stade de France.

● Responsible for online content creation and social media including articles, photos and videos.● Utilize program and software skills to generate and design full scope of media guides and daily newsletters.● Derive and execute proactive media engagement resulting in more than $100,000 of free publicity each year.

The Springfield Timbers are a summer American Legion team made up of the top baseball players from South Eugene, Thurston, Springfield, Cottage Grove, Creswell, Pleasant Hill, Harrisburg, Lowell, Mohawk & McKenzie high schools.The Timbers provide opportunities for players to develop and improve their talents while competing against the highest level of competition from across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. In addition to achieving success on the field, the Timbers promote the importance of sportsmanship, an active lifestyle and civic responsibility.

● Led business development growth using effective marketing and public relations strategies encompassing all golf operations and event revenue streams; stimulated a 15% increase in rounds of golf player and 20% increase in total revenue during first year of operation.● Successfully won request for proposal and executed contract negotiations for a operations contract with the City of Eugene.

● Treasurer for Booster Club● Former Assistant Baseball Coach and mentor for the South Eugene Axe Baseball Team.

● Gameday Focus was a full service photography and design company specializing in sports action photography and video.● Clients included the Pac-12 Conference, USA Racquetball, Northwest Christian University, Sheldon High School and South Eugene High School.

● Oversaw both regional and national-level paintball events for amateur and professional teams.● Accounted for all facets of event management from inception to completion. Venues included NFL Stadiums.● Managed tournament competition operations for more than 100 teams and 1,000 participants per event.

● Working with the Pac 12’s Coordinator of Baseball Officiating, devised methods and strategies for capturing video from baseball games to aid in the education and development of conference umpires.● Captured video footage from baseball games at Oregon State University and the University of Oregon.● Videos were edited and uploaded to a web portal were they were available to all conference umpires (90+ games in 2014).

Operated one of the last manual scoreboards in professional baseball during the Emeralds' last five seasons at Civic Stadium. As the team moved to PK Park in 2010, my role switched from moving large metal panels with numbers on them to hitting buttons on a remote that controlled the big fancy electronic scoreboard. Starting in the 2012 season, I served as the team's official photographer.

● Public relations account lead for Amicore, a healthcare software developer founded by Microsoft, Pfizer & IBM. ● Other client work included Microsoft’s Healthcare Industry Solutions Group, DataLabs and Health Level 7.● Demonstrated experience in writing and editing of proactive pitches, news releases and key messaging.● Preparation of company executives and customers for media interviews and tradeshow meetings.● Development and implementation of strategic media relation’s plans.● Project management for bylined articles, tradeshow events and media kits. ● Responsible for weekly and monthly budget tracking. ● Intern supervision.
