CONTINUALLY ADVANCING At this time in my career, I possess a driving need and desire to “take that next hill.” After reaching a plateau in my media work, I seek that next challenge, the next problem to solve, or an organization to assist or help. Given the breadth and depth of my business, education, media, and ministry experience, I have the pre-requisites to attack and solve virtually any problem. DRAWING UPON MY ACCOMPLISHMENTSEvery position I held built upon my prior experience. My first position as a minor league General Manager drew upon my high school and college sports and broadcasting experience. From there, my academic and professional experience in management, information technology, human resources, and marketing enabled me to advance from first line and entry-level to senior management positions. In each position, I met or exceeded revenue goals and organizational expectations. During the 12 years I operated my consulting business, I implemented and supported LAN/WAN system in multi-platform manufacturing environments by providing network installation and administration, disaster recovery, and accounting system installation, configuration, and support services. On a selective basis, I assisted businesses in developing and creating start-up business plans for companies still operating 20 years later.Throughout my professional career, I taught courses in 20 academic fields for students ranging from the technical to graduate school level. In addition, I oversaw the operation of a remote campus and was a finalist for Dean of the College of Business at one school. Since graduating from Bible College, I have produced and hosted daily and weekly radio programs in the news, sports, and ministry fields. Among the hundreds of guests I interviewed were authors, national / international business leader, and educational and ministry experts. Among my media accomplishments has been to be identified as the only independent news source in our region.
