I began my work for a marketing company in Colchester called TPR Enterprise (Under the umbrella company Appco). I feel I have a natural aptitude for sales and felt this was an opportunity to gain some practical experience. Starting as a field representative, I progressed and when I left was responsible for the management and development of a team of around 10 members. The day to day responsibilities involved helping the owner plan the day’s activities and training new members of staff and supervising my team. The selling was ‘door to door’. In my time at Appco I predominately worked in the charity division. I have been given a rising star award in leadership and numerous sales awards for quantity as well as quality. Working with all the largest charities in the world, customer service is something that is deemed very important. I very much enjoy sales and believe I can attain my goals by working in this field. This attitude has seen me to be one of the very highest achievers in the appco group and I was at the very top of the bulletin for sales each week. The business development program that appco has taken me through has taught me the fundamentals of sales. In selling ‘Door to door’ I believe I have excelled in the hardest form of sales. Working in and along side a big team in the Appco group, I have learnt team leadership, as well as how to be part of a team. I am very excited for a long career in sales.
