After graduation from the commercial school in La Neuveville – (French), I started at Revisuisse in the customer accounting services department. In 1993, I transferred to Revisuisse Price Waterhouse and started in the assurance department, trade and industry clients. Then I have first completed the exams related to the “Treuhänder mit eidg. Fachausweis” before I became a Swiss CPA (dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer) in 1998. In 1999, I moved to the Silicon Valley (California, USA) for an international secondment and with this got international experience, mainly in the area of US GAAP and public share offerings for US based public technology companies.In 2002, I returned to Switzerland and continued to work in the US GAAP and technology environment but also had the opportunity to develop the Middle Market and family business client segment. In 2007, I became a Partner in the assurance practice and since have been serving a very international client base in a broad range of industries throughout Switzerland.Even though the majority of my clients belong to the Middle Market and Family Business segment and my main industry focus lies with Industrial Product (IP) companies, I was able to build up broad experience in other industries such as Utility/Energy, Real Estate, NGO and Government. Further, I have been serving large companies/groups (revenues >1bln) and handle a very international portfolio.Further, my experience covers audits of public interest entities, I was leading several capital market transactions such as IPOs and share offerings as well as Conversion Projects (German HGB to IFRS), (IFRS to Swiss GAAP FER) and (Swiss Code of Obligation (CO) to Swiss GAAP FER).
