I began my journey at CoAdna with the responsibility of launching a new ODM product line. Over time, my role expanded to cover product management across all product lines within the company. Eventually, I also took on additional responsibilities in sales and marketing functions. As part of my role, I have been entrusted with developing and implementing company-wide business and product strategies focused on achieving sustainable growth.With major design-wins at all tier 1 customers, CoAdna became top three WSS suppliers in the Telecom Industry; significant revenue growth ensured a successful IPO in 2011. CoAdna maintained continuous year to year growth in both revenue and profit since, till being acquired by II-VI in 2018.My major contribution to the company's growth is on new product/business development. In 2014 ECOC, I identified and followed through an opportunity with the company's unique, highly reliable LC based WSS technology. With 3 years team efforts, we successfully qualified and deployed wavelength switches for submarine optical networks, which now account for 25% of the company's annual income, and moved the company to a dominant position in this market segment.Led a cross-functional team to bring up a white box platform for ROADM sub-systems and contributed to Open ROADM and ODTN consortium. Qualified and partnered with vendors of transceivers, EDFA’s, and OCM for white box products for 5G networks, which has brought huge business potentials for the company.I also played an important role in internal business processes development and manufacturing/ engineering setup in China. That includes: establishing a product life cycle (PLC) process, defining a part number convention and relational BOM structure.

Leading a team of software, electrical, optical and automation engineers, created and maintained a SQL database of test data and provided Crystal Reports for quality assurance and SPC; established an ODM partnership to develop burn-in equipment with the state-of-art thermal consistency and high operating power and enabled a smooth NPI for the high power semiconductor laser; improved productivity by 23x for 50% of the production in the test area through automation.Acting as a Greenbelt in a 6σ team, improved and formalized test station performance metrics, test station troubleshooting and release process and Calibration/Maintenance procedures.

Developed manufacturing testing and optimization processes for the then state-of-art 300 pin MSA 10G Transceivers. Led the automated equipment development and released to Pemstar - the CM for ONI products. Managing the CM for quality and reliability assurance. Participated the full product development cycle for 10G-FEC, 10G-ADM linecards, from concept phase to manufacturing release.

Worked in the automation group, improved 100GHz DWDM device yields from 50% to 80%, by introducing advanced filter/lens attachment technique. Later joined optical module manufacturing team, experienced 4x business expansion within 1 year by providing OEM services to telco system companies.

Providing field services and technical support to local and worldwide IC chip manufacturers for Applied’s semiconductor wafer processing systems.
