Kinglong New Energy (KLNE) is an aspiring Chinese-American joint venture, based in Beijing. KLNE researches, develops, produces and markets high-quality solar PV inverters.I am concentrating on marketing and developing customized solutions for solar projects in Germany and on cooperations with German companies. As the only native German speaker, I also help out our other departments (Marketing, Technichal, Service, Purchase, HR) with quite diverse tasks.

Additionally to writing my Master Thesis ("Climate Change Policy in China"), I supported colleagues in writing their papers. I researched, discussed and gave feedback to economic policy instruments (taxes, emission trading, baseline & crediting), post-Kyoto mechanism, sectoral approaches, NAMAs and the Chinese building sector.

As a member of the Good Governance Afghanistan Welcome Team, I prepared and organized the first weeks of 15 Afghan students in Germany and at the Willy Brandt School. This involved personally welcoming the students, planning and executing various events/excursions, organizing their accommodation and being the student's first contact person for personal issues/problems. I especially learned taking over leadership and applying a mature and sensitive behavior with regard to various intercultural issues.

I was analyzing and summarizing baseline and monitoring methodologies as well as project design documents of the CDM. I contributed to a paper about the CDM potential in the Chinese building sector and actively took part in a range of seminars/workshops the RCIEP offered with participation of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and the Chinese National Centre on Climate Change (NCCC). Besides helping to organize the event, I prepared presentations and contributed to discussions.

Im Auftrag der Fränkischen Wassersportschulen habe ich an der Universität Bayreuth 2 Kurse in Segeltheorie gelehrt (Binnen- und Küstensegeln). Neben der organisatorischen Verantwortung stand die Wissensvermittlung im Vordergrund.
