An experienced ecological consultant and full member of CIEEM, Oliver's daily responsibilities include Project Management, Risk Assessment, Staff Management, Financial Reporting, Business Planning, Recruiting and technical guidance to the team. Specialisms include: BNG, Protected species survey, site assessment, mitigation design and licensing. Habitat survey and ecological risk assessment. Ecological Impact Assessment (for Environmental Statements) and input to Design & Access Statements. Experienced negotiator between clients, Local Planning Authorities and SNCO's (e.g. Natural England). Invasive plant (e.g. Japanese knotweed) survey, eradication specification and contract management. Bat survey and risk appraisal, particularly for wind farm & residential/mixed use developments.
