As a VFX artist I throw all my past generalist experience into solving problems. I am confident working with shaders, character animations and any environment support. In my past experience as a 3D generalist, I grew many skillsets and worked alongside many departments to push our games into a presentable state for marketing use. I have a strong ability to mentor and help support any team, answering any technical questions and I am always setting logical standards for file management, pipelines and documentation.While working as a Cinematic 3D generalist, I re-developed character models, shaders and VFX for cinematic trailers and also helped our rigging team meet their animation requirements. Our cinematic team encompassed many disciplines and pipelines, which means I have experience with a lot of different tools and workflows. I have learned a lot whilst working closely alongside tech artists, riggers and animators. This experience has drastically shaped my interest in technology and VFX.I love to stretch the limits of games with interesting new shaders and visual effects, I constantly look for ways to improve our tools. When collaborating with others, I help find smarter, cost effective ways to manage our time and produce higher quality games. In the future I see myself combining more and more technical skills into my VFX skillset. Later in my career growth I would also be interested in developing python and houdini tools for vfx/animation. I hope in my next opportunities I will have the freedom to help develop modular workflows and cool new shaders in our games.
