Responsible for overseeing the operations of the London event bookings team; supplying appropriate temporary event staff to many of London's premium caterers and high-end event venues.I managed a number of key client accounts, including for several of the companies top 10 clients. I maintained and developed existing business relationships, successfully enhancing client satisfaction and generating business growth. I successfully onboarded and retained two new major contract clients, whilst also renegotiating rates and increasing our proportion of staffing with existing clients; significantly increasing the departments year on year turnover and maintaining profit margins, despite increasing costs. I directly supervised a team of permanent staff, whilst also having responsibility for a large database of 1000+ temporary staff. I was responsible for managing company quotations to secure business from a range of private clients, event planners and corporations. This included setting appropriate rates and also helping provide assistance with staffing requirements. I also effectively analysed our capacity to take on additional business, without reducing the quality of our operation. I was active in helping improve the company’s processes including: driving implementation of a new staff audit process; eligibility to work tracking; bringing in staff retention schemes and running a recruitment account.Additionally I worked onsite in a variety of leadership roles, including front of house management, to assist clients in the successful delivery of events at exclusive venues across London.
