I am engaged as non-executive director and audit committee chair as well as entrepreneur. As a partner at Deloitte in the United Arab Emirates and KPMG in Germany I have gained broad industry experience serving a variety of markets over almost 30 years across both financial and non-financial service sectors, public and private entities as well as different stages in company lifecycles. My foundational areas of expertise cover financial reporting, accounting advisory, valuation models, financial due diligence, corporate transactions, internal audit, risk management. I established KPMG’s Accounting Advisory Services in Germany, led its Internal Audit practice for financial service clients, worked across Europe, the USA and UAE. More recently, I was responsible for financial audits and assurance services, primarily serving as senior audit partner for commercial banks, investment and real estate managers, sovereign wealth funds, family offices. My current focus is on future readiness of company strategy, financial reporting integrity, adequacy of risk management and corporate governance structures. Equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset, I enjoyed achieving sustainable growth in my different management positions and strongly believe my leadership has determined personal growth of team members and helped businesses to succeed.
