My responsibilities includes monthly closing, analysis, forecasting and budgeting at two of Scandic’s hotels in Stockholm City and I report to Area Business Controller. I work closely with the hotels management team.

As Area Business Controller I am responsible for leading and distributing the work within the controller team. I work closely with other Area Business Controllers with the development process of Business Controlling. Other responsibilities consists of budgeting, monitoring and reporting for up to 13 hotels, as well as manager for up to three people. I also participate in working with strategic issues for the district with a dotted line to Area General Manager and reports to Finance Director.

As the Financial Manager I was responsible for the financial planning, monthly closing and budgeting, as well as reporting, both internally and to the parent company. I also create and develop policies and procedures. I was a member of the management team and report to the CEO. I also attended the company’s board meetings as a secretary.

As a Business Controller I was a part of the District Controller team. I worked with monthly closing, analysis, forecasting and budgeting at two of Scandic’s hotels in Stockholm and reported to Finance Director.

I was responsible for the accounting, budgeting, and reporting including accounting/cash handling of the hotel, as well as the Manager for the Financial Assistant. I was a member of the Hotel management team and reported to the General Manager.

As an Audit Assistant (level of Assistant Manager) I worked with management- and financial audit on small and medium-sized Swedish companies. I was responsible for preparing the financial statements, annual reports and tax returns for smaller companies. I educated internally regarding tax declarations and externally the software Kapell.
