I'm Olivia! A senior double majoring in Creative Advertising and Fashion Media at Southern Methodist University at the Meadows School of the Arts. I’m deeply passionate about exploring the intersection of fashion, media, and culture with a deep understanding of the power of visual storytelling and its influence on society. As a four-year staff member of SMU Look, I’ve been able to pursue this passion by gaining hands-on experience in creating engaging content for a university publication. Through my work at SMU Look and my academic studies, I’ve honed skills in writing, editing and multimedia production, with a proven ability to connect with a fashion-forward audience. Prior to SMU, I was a competitive horseback rider, consistently traveling, training, and competing nationwide. I devoted much of my life to the sport and spent countless hours at the barn. The demanding training schedule and year-round competitions, along with the responsibility of caring for my horses, taught me invaluable lessons in responsibility, time management, and discipline.
