I specialised in internal communications, collaborating closely with various departments to ensure cohesive messaging across our external social media platforms. I also worked closely with the sales team to coordinate our presence at customer-facing events, ensuring our messaging is consistent and impactful. My role included creating organic social media posts and scheduling on a weekly basis whilst also creating and running relevant paid social media campaigns. I wrote content for and built monthly newsletters and solo emails, collating the statistics for each correspondence to review the engagement rate . I uploaded blogs to our website and made any relevant updates to blogs and the website in general. I also completed monthly competitor and market research to analyse the marketplace and distribute it across the wider team.

To start my career in marketing, I volunteered as a Social Media Assistant at Refugee Cafe. Refugee Cafe is a not for profit organisation aiming to break down the barriers faced by Refugees and create opportunity for those granted asylum in London.I created digital assets to be used across social media channels and created content for social media posts on a weekly basis whilst also discovering the best way to engage with audiences. I was also tasked with completing weekly statistic reviews and team calls to foster creativity and share ideas to increase engagement.
