My main duties at The Compass Tavern include taking food/beverage orders and delivering items to customers in a timely manner. In order to do so, I work alongside a team of other motivated individuals to ensure customer satisfaction. With my TIPs certification, I am trained in serving alcohol responsibly, ensuring a safe environment for our customers in staff. I also help to train and orient any new staff members.

As a study partner at Merrimack College, my main priority is to provide study, learning, and test-taking skills to students to ensure their success. Some of these strategies include Cornell note taking, SQ3R reading skills and the use of notability to take effective notes. I also develop a study plan for each student I work with and track their progress through the semester, making sure the our plan is working and adjusting it if need be. Through the use of TutorAirs, I schedule, record, and document each meeting.

In being a lifeguard for Continental Pools, my main priority is providing a safe facility for guests. In order to do so I have gained knowledge on the facilities Emergency Action Plan and have been Ellis and Associates certified to provide first aid to guests in emergency situations. More specifically, this certification provided me with the skills to administer CPR, use an AED and supplemental oxygen support, and utilize various water rescues if needed. Other duties included enforcing pool facility rules and guidelines and inspecting pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure further safety.

As an extern at Athletic Evolution, I was given the opportunity to shadow both physical therapists and strength and conditioning coaches. In doing so, I gained experience in exercise physiology and how a strength and conditioning gym functions. Within the physical therapy department, some of my tasks included learning and utilizing proper icing, heating, STIM, and cupping therapies, as well as maintaining the rules and regulations of HIPPA. By working around athletes in the gym, I was able to learn proper techniques and form when squatting, deadlifting, and doing other weight training exercises.
