Collaborate and communicate with sales and marketing to shape the line plan and ensure our assortment is meeting business needs. Hand draw footwear tech diagrams for tech & spec packages. Travel abroad for sourcing, prototype/sample correction, and production check-ups. Lead aesthetic and fitting reviews, and pass comments on to factories/ agents. Maintain line plans, mini walls, spec charts. Design and develop the line with Design Director, Faryl Morse for clients ranging from Target to Anthropologie. Develop line plan, sketches, source materials and detail with CADs for individual lines/ clients. Create technical sketches and spec sheets. Shop the market and retailer to identify trends. Create and maintain design development calendar for brands. Monitor samples and corrections via communication with factory/ trading company to ensure on time delivery. Attend buying meetings with Account Manager and communicate with buyer regarding any further required development.

Associate Footwear Designer – Collaborate with the Creative Director and team to design and develop the Alice and Olivia shoe line. Create new construction sketches and technical sketches for tech packs. Detail the line using Photoshop to CAD ideas suggesting direction of the season for Creative Director to approve. Lead fittings for prototypes through development and production stages. Maintain line sheet from development to sales market. Sign off on confirmation samples and TOPs for Creative Director’s approval. Implemented and streamlined new processes and procedures for inter-department communication.Materials Coordinator – Liaise with design and product development teams to establish schedule and price requirements for the season. Meet with both handbags and shoe team for review of materials selected by Creative Director. Work with design and product development teams for ordering quantities, required re-developments and factory distribution. Manage correspondence, import, and distribution, costing and shipping of sample materials. Work with production team for approval of production skins and further redevelopments.

Trim Manager - manage sourcing and importing of trims for domestic production and for special items for foreign production. Prepare trim packs and line sheets. Maintain the trim library.Production Manager - manage production planning at all levels to forecast potential manufacturing problems and assess any delays in established timelines. Liaise with design, merchandising and sales to establish schedules and price requirements. Manage import production, costing and price negotiation for the "tops" line. Create and maintain line sheets. Issue cutting tickets for factory assignments. Track approval of garments.
