Four years qualified Midwife with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Strong healthcare services professional with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) focused in Direct Entry Midwifery from University of Hertfordshire. Additionally, qualified in the Newborn Infant Physical Examination (NIPE) and a certified KGH Hypnobirthing teacher. Skilled in Midwifery, Microsoft Excel, Customer Service, Microsoft Word, and Strategic Planning. I have a keen interest in Public Health and research into Maternal and Neonatal outcomes. I previously worked throughout the Maternity department working on the Midwifery-Led unit, Obstetric-Led unit and the antenatal and postnatal wards. Within the past year I have been working as the Midwife in Charge on the antenatal and postnatal ward, managing a 48 bed inpatient ward. Specific skills of caring for patients in the Close Observation Unit with high risk pregnancies such as pre-eclampsia, threatened pre-term labour or those who have undergone operative births with complications. Working closely with the paediatric team and caring for newborns requiring admissions to the neonatal unit. I am currently working as a Specialist Midwife in an emergency gynaecology unit and early pregnancy unit.
