Hello, my name is Olivia Centonza and I am a recently graduated Masters music therapy student of NYU. I have been a singer for as long as I can remember and have been a part of every school choir imaginable. Later on in my teenage years, I picked up songwriting, piano, and guitar and since then have released various original songs. I went to Saint Joseph's University and eventually heard about the field of music therapy, interning with various MTBC's across Philadelphia. In 2016 I earned my bachelor's degree in music with a minor in psychology. I accepted my offer into NYU's MT program for Fall 2020, having thus completed the program in 2022, completing my internship at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. The gift of music and bringing positivity, healing, and growth into people's lives have always been passions of mine. I truly believe music has the power to heal and I cannot wait to share that with others. My compassion, kindness, empathy, and passion for music have exemplified that music therapy is the perfect path for me.
