Central to Olivia's career is the promoting of lifelong learning, and the creation of engaging and accessible education through the digital medium. From having worked in an edu-tech startup in Switzerland to government agencies championing workforce development and lifelong learning in Singapore: Olivia has both public and private sector experience from industry development, strategic corporate planning to instructional design and e-learning content development. Today, Olivia works for UEFA, the leading football association in Europe and is responsible for e-learning and workforce development. Her mission is to train and equip the vast events workforce for the upcoming EURO 2024, as well as major annual football tournaments such as the Men and Women’s Champions League Final. Olivia strongly believes in a future where education is truly borderless for all, self-directed, and collaborative. Whether designing for traditional, eLearning or mobile environments, she finds it an exciting challenge to break down boring, technical subject matter (yawwwns!) into understandable yet compelling content for adult learners. Olivia finds joy and purpose in what she does, knowing that her work in education technology has a transformative impact on how others learn and would empower their growth and self-discovery.An aspiring polyglot, Olivia is fluent in English, French and Chinese and is currently pursuing Spanish as her fourth language. She enjoys connecting, collaborating and building relations with diverse teams and stakeholders. Having juggled multiple large projects from start to finish, she brings a strong can-do spirit while strategizing and solving problems.Outside of work, Olivia is a professional content creator (@olliechinny) and shares about her expat journey living abroad and travel adventures in Switzerland. She has partnered with numerous brands, restaurants and hotels, including the Swiss National Tourism Board, MySwitzerland, to promote Switzerland as a choice destination to the Southeast Asian markets.
