My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Auburn University, where I graduated in May 2022. During my time at Auburn, I actively engaged in campus life and assumed leadership positions. I served as the President of the PT/OT Club and represented the university as a Student Recruiter.I am currently developing my occupational therapy skills through my UAB OTD coursework. Recently, I completed two fieldwork rotations: one at the hand clinic at UAB Highlands, and another at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, where I focused on acute care, adult outpatient therapy, and inpatient geriatric psychiatry. This semester, I am completing a 14-week capstone project where I am creating accessible health-related materials for adults with low vision. With graduation approaching in December 2024, I’m eager to apply my skills to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
