My legal work thus far has covered Habeas Corpus Death Penalty appeals, civil and criminal public defense in tribal jurisdictions, and low-income tenant unionizing. While in Law School I worked closely with the National Lawyers Guild, first as a legal observer, then as president of Case Western's NLG chapter. I have a B.A. in English from Ohio University, where I sharpened my research, writing, and communication skills. My focus on creative writing and Classics and World Religions granted me the flexibility to communicate across a variety of cultural contexts. I've tried to put this training to good use in my post-grad career. I'm always free for coffee and a (very)long talk about your favorite poem. Or anything that has to do with New Orleans.
