At the Queens Museum I assisted with research and exhibition installation of the Spring 2020 exhibitions. I worked remotely beginning in March, teaming up with a variety of departments to create interactive content while the museum was closed.

I itemized the Library’s current collection, creating a comprehensive inventory sheet while inspecting the condition of the books. Also receiving specialized skills in preparing a book to circulate, mobilized both pre- and post-processing new acquisitions for circulation.

At the Admissions Office of Pratt Institute I regularly led tours of twenty plus students and families through campus. This involved intensive memorization of the degrees programs Pratt offers, as well as campus history.

At this intensive full-time internship I operated on the long term project of digitizing the archive by inventorying and barcoding photo mounts, scanning shelf-list cards, returning loose digitized records to the Photoarchive. I learned to weld mylar sheets, creating folders for sensitive archival images. Further, I assisted with the AI system the Stamford-Cornell Project correcting the programs initial classifications of images within the collection.

With the Neighborhood Preservation Center I assisted the Acting Director in curating and cataloguing the organization’s in-house library. Further, I updated and edited three databases of contact listings, landmark publications and in-house books.

With the History of Art and Design Department Office I handled office documents, including revision and filing and communicated with external institutions, paying invoices on behalf of the department. I also compiled the department’s budget data with both Microsoft Office and Macbook programs.

With Artists Alliance I worked at Cuchifritos Gallery + Project Space, there I opened and closed the gallery, interacting with the visitors throughout the day. I oversaw and occasionally operated the variety of interactive exhibits.
