I graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors with a BA from Otterbein. I double majored in Political Science and Spanish and minored in Legal Studies and Race+Ethnic Studies. I interned as a legal assistant for 2 years at Rodriguez Bell and DiFranco Immigration Law office. I also studied abroad in Costa Rica for a semester to improve my spoken and written Spanish. I'm currently completing a certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and spent a semester teaching English to adult refugee students in Columbus OH.After graduating I went to Shanghai, China with Otterbein University as an ESL classroom assistant and student representative for an Art and ESL workshop. I worked closely with college-age Chinese students to foster the use of academic English in an art context.I'm a skilled writer, researcher and communicator. I am experienced working in a multi-cultural environment with people who speak many languages and come from diverse backgrounds. I'm fluent in Spanish and can use it in a professional setting, as I've done at Rodriguez Bell and DiFranco Law.
