Recently celebrating its 25th anniversary, it also hosts an annual competition and conference to showcase America’s emerging talents.As the Director of Major Gifts, I oversee Board Relations and individual giving, as well as spearheading various events throughout the year. Having received a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance, my passion for classical music perfectly intersects with my desire to use my skills to further equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the performing arts in this role.

I am responsible for developing and implementing the overall acquisition, renewal, and stewardship strategy for OSF’s membership and annual fund program, which is being reimagined for the 2022 season and beyond with the expectation of securing approximately $7m annually to support OSF’s programs and operations. I also maintain a portfolio of donors and prospects and work collaboratively with other gift officers to support successful moves management and the achievement of overall individual giving goals.

As the Director of Individual Giving, I am responsible for directing and leading USUO’s strategies for contributions from individuals encompassing gifts up to $9,999, and overseeing all strategies to implement the Annual Fund activities with a goal of generating approximately $1.4 Million annually. I also am the co-founder of USUO's brand-new young professionals group, Upbeat-- connecting young professionals to the power of music education programs and securing the future of philanthropy in classical music. With a budget of $23 Million, USUO serves over 350,000 individuals each year through performances at Abravanel Hall, the Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre, the Deer Valley® Music Festival, and a state-wide education and community engagement program. Maintain and build a portfolio of 500+ donors totaling $250,000 in annual individual giving.Implement fundraising strategies to build new long-term relationships with potential donors and sustain current donors. Work closely with Executive Artistic Director and Development Committee to increase donor pipeline.Create and oversee the “Subscriber of the Month” program, a new strategy to honor and invigorate donor pool. Develop strategies leading to prospects and donors through identification, engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.Compile stewardship and donation tracking reports for corporate supporters. Plan and manage two major fundraisers each season.Write all grants and proposals to foundations, government agencies, and corporate giving programs.Create presentations and write donor-centric letters for the annual giving appeal campaigns. Represent SLAC at plays, programs and events, and conferences.

Supported fundraising activities as well as subscription renewals.Maintained the website and created content for social media, eblasts, direct mail, and other mass appeals.Provided exemplary customer service as the liaison between the patrons and the theatre in the Box Office.Created the “Starving Student Artist Pass”, a discount ticketing package with masterclasses for college theatre students.Hosted the vlog “A Cup of Joe with O”, an innovative program connecting audiences to SLAC’s actors and plays.

As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, I was responsible for all scheduling and travel details. I assisted in event planning and board meeting preparation, including taking the minutes at all board meetings. I closely assisted the Director of Development and other staff members in any and all office duties.

While at the Nuyo, I assisted in the development of an open mic night as well as an opera-in-a-bar series called Operation: Opera. I created newsletters weekly on Constant Contact and helped in booking acts for the main stage. I worked closely with the Executive Director and other staff members in all aspects of the company, including marketing and clerical duties.

I was responsible for the recruitment and registration for students interested in pursuing the Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago. I did cold calling and scheduling of appointments for potential students. I then conducted interviews with them and gave them tours of the building and classes, ending in registration for classes for the upcoming semester.
