I am a Psychology graduate from The University of Manchester, I have great interest in Organisational and Educational Psychology as well as Health Psychology. Throughout my degree I have acquired many essential skills such as critical evaluation, independent learning and communication skills. Research and statistical analysis are some of my strongest skills, in my second year I completed a lab report assignment which required the use SPSS (version 25) statistical analysis software. I demonstrated excellent critical analysis and scientific communication skills by achieving a first class grade in this assignment. For my final year project I used my problem solving skills to identify which statistical tests I needed to perform based on the data I was collecting. I achieved a first class grade on my final write up. I have developed my interpersonal skills through my position as a performance coordinator for a dance team at my university. This required me to be incredibly organised and communicate promptly and affectively with event staff and our team members. I have successfully coordinated in-person and online dance workshops and performance showcases.Through my role as an Energy Specialist at Octopus Energy I applied the skills I gained from my time at university. Verbal and written communication skills were essential as I would regularly help customers with their queries over the phone and via email. These queries could vary throughout the day so I had to learn and retain new information very quickly. I managed my workload by organising reminders to contact customers with follow ups, prioritising urgent cases, and reaching out to expert team members if certain cases were very complex.
