Fundraising the support the clubs goal of building bridges over impassible rivers in foreign countries, specifically in our chapters case, in Eswatini.

Led a multi university team of engineering students, communicating and delegating to create and present reports on designs, budgets, logistics, safety and risk analysis.Team designed a pedestrian footbridge utilizing AutoCAD and engineering mechanics knowledge with supervision from a licensed bridge engineer.From May-July lived in Eswatini and coordinated a construction site including the student team (10), local EIA staff (5), local masons (4), and local community members (≤45).Overcame cultural and language barriers, directing non-English speakers with limited to no knowledge of engineering.Completed surveying and quality control checks of complete bridge design and materials utilized.Managed the project keeping it on time and within budget despite limited resources and multiple necessary field design revisions.
