As Program Manager at WPEO, I was responsible for managing the Certification Team. I oversaw the Women Business Enterprise certification process; meeting and exceeding our monthly certification goals. In this role, I ensured that the Certification Team adhered to all of WBENC's compliance standards and procedures. I also conducted training for newly certified women-business owners, as well as new Certification Team members.

During my time at the European Commission's DG Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, I assisted in the preparation of new legislative proposals to the European Parliament and European Council. I attended European Parliament hearings on behalf of the Commission and wrote detailed reports to debrief my DG MARE Unit. My overall role was to support my adviser in regards to policy proposals that uphold the EU Common Fisheries Policy, as well as the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.

As an intern for UNICEF Ireland, I conducted research of the Sustainable Development Goals within the Irish context. The United Nation's SDGs for 2030 encompass 17 goals across multiple dimensions effecting children in the world today, including gender inequality, access to education, protection, access to clean water and much more. My work and research pertained to the application of the SDGs in the Irish context with child-specific motivations. This work consisted of requests by UNICEF for the Irish government to fulfill their responsibilities in the implementation of the SDGs and recommendations for the future.

As a Retail Banker with Columbia Bank, I was responsible for delivering exceptional customer service on a daily basis. This customer service was in person and via phone; answering bank related queries, interest rate advice, as well as referring applicants to our loan department. I was responsible for the on-boarding and training of new employees, as well as database management for my branch.

As an intern for the "American Team" at Allen & Overy in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, I was responsible for for reviewing legal depositions, casework and indentures pertaining to American companies entering the German market. I was responsible for drafting legal documents and letters to Allen & Overy's clients, as well as assisting in drafting and editing further documentation.

The Captive Elephant Project is an NGO in Bangalore, India which collects data to lobby the Indian government regarding animal rights. During my time in India, I worked on behalf of the NGO to research the health and living conditions of captive Asian elephants in the state of Karnataka. I interviewed locals and mahouts (elephant caretakers), with the help of an interpreter, to assess the physical and psychological health of six Asian elephants living in captivity and working in Hindu temples. I also conducted individual research on the physical and mental effects captivity has on Asian elephants, as well as the role this caste-oriented work plays in the local economy. At the end of my time in India, I presented a 30 page report to the Captive Elephant Project to be used to lobby the Indian government regarding reform to animal rights legislation.
