Responsible for solving real-time manufacturing, mechanical, and design issues experienced in testing and in the field for second generation product. Projects changed daily based on what issues required higher priority. Major points of focus were making the Copenhagen Wheel water tight -- developing tests, parts, and manufacturing techniques to do so.

- Redesigned a new library of dummy shocks for the Test Lab. Created a mechanism that could be laterally adjusted while being bolted to a bike frame on both ends. Modeled CAD and drawings in PTC Creo Parametric for each shock type, four total. - Designed and built an environmental test fixture for a new bike component in the 2017 Roubaix. Determined my own testing parameters and pass/fail criteria. The fixture sprayed a slurry of dirt and water over a component as it actuated. Completed the project by concluding whether or not the component could survive environmental extremes and go to market.- Wrote an in depth benchmarking process for road bikes. Through this process, a competitor bike can be evaluated through a set of quantitative and qualitative metrics. Built a flow chart that linked rider perceptions during a ride to measurable design traits of a bike. The flow chart functions as a map to comparing and contrasting the qualitative vs. quantitative data. - Lead my own product development project by conceptualizing many iterations of a new attachment design for a road bike fender. Took the project through many rounds of prototyping and testing. I modeled each prototype in CAD, examined them further through 3D printing, machined physical prototypes, and sent them into field testing. At the end of my internship, a final design was handed off to another engineer to take through the manufacturing process.

Student athletes at Northeastern are under a lot of pressure to achieve academically while balancing their hectic schedules. An athlete can request one on one tutoring sessions with me in any class I have received an A- or better in. It is my responsibility to meet with athletes on a reoccurring basis to go over class notes, homework problems, confusing topics, and for test prep. As a tutor, I am expected to know the material from my previous classes, be an approachable presence during sessions, and be articulate and patient in my interactions with my student athletes while strictly adhering to NCAA laws.

Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA has a state of the art intensive care unit for cardiology patients. For about 6-10 hours a week, I shadow Dr. Robert Giugliano during his formal and informal rounds in the ICU. I also shadow Dr. Giugliano in his clinical rounds with his outpatients. During these experiences, I am able to interact with patients, interns, and other doctors. I am given the opportunity to ask questions, observe examinations, and interpret lab data and scans.
