As a customer service representative at the Wedding Shoppe, I help customers secure garments for their events within a reasonable timeline. I am also the first line of assistance in resolving any issues customers or stylists may have, and I provide support for stylists, brides, and their party members to help them stay on top of their goals and avoid issues in getting ready for their events. Examples of this work include finding solutions for defective or ill-fitting garments, making suggestions when the Shoppe is unable to provide the exact service(s) a customer may need, and providing solutions and advice to help customers not only find dresses that make them look and feel amazing, but also avoid issues during the processes and timeline(s) leading up to their events. I help to keep communication running between the Shoppe and the designers with which we are partnered, and I make sure to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and styles that designers are creating in order to better help customers. In my time as a customer service representative, I have also taken on special projects like consolidating solutions and answers for common menswear questions into real-life tools that stylists throughout our company can access and utilize with their customers, and I make a point to encourage stylists to bring their questions to me so that I can keep my tools as up-to-date as possible.

As a bridal stylist with the Wedding Shoppe, I helped brides find their dream dresses for their weddings. To do this, I maintained a running knowledge of sales techniques, timelines for gowns, inventory, trends within the wedding industry, and more. I assisted brides in not only finding the right gown, but accessorizing and making necessary changes (e.g. suggesting custom details and alterations) until their gown became "The One". I was also the top stylist for attaining menswear signups and assisting brides and grooms with menswear selections through the Shoppe's partnership with Generation Tux, and my methods are still being used today by other stylists. My attention to detail, creativity, and enthusiasm for my work are qualities I believe have made me a better employee during my time at the Shoppe, and I intend to carry those qualities with me throughout my career.
