I worked in the Jewellery department, advising and serving customers.I processed payments as well as refunds and exchanges.I made sure stock levels were maintained and I was regularly in contact with suppliers, regarding current and future stock.I merchandised the stock and ensured that customers received the exact product they were looking for.

I mainly took telephone enquiries and bookings for Zipit. I also processed refunds and reschedules of bookings. I answered customer query emails. I organised and filed past and future bookings. I regularly compiled databases of information helpful to the company (i.e a data base of potential target markets, future clients etc.)

I mainly worked in OTC sales (over the counter), helping customers find exactly what product they needed. I advised customers on which over the counter medication they should use. I took monthly prescription orders and fulfilled the orders for the pharmacist to review. I operated the till and was responsible for the end of day cash up.
