As a committed member of Alpha Phi Omega, a premier service fraternity at James Madison University, I have engaged in extensive community service and leadership development activities. Throughout my pledge period, I completed over 18 hours of dedicated service, contributing positively to various community initiatives. Now, currently as an active brother, I will complete 27 hours of service per semester as well as attend/participate in various leadership opportunities. Additionally, I actively participated in multiple leadership opportunities, gaining valuable insights from leaders both within the JMU community and beyond. This combination of hands-on service and leadership has deepened my commitment to making a positive impact in the healthcare field as I prepare for a future as a Physician Assistant.

In my role as Customer Service Clerk at Harris Teeter, I managed the entirety of the store’s front end, ensuring operational efficiency and exceptional customer service. I was responsible for overseeing cash tills, performing till audits, and handling large sums of money with meticulous accuracy. Daily, I assisted a high volume of customers, addressing their needs with prompt problem-solving and a focus on satisfaction. Additionally, I coordinated the schedules for meals and breaks for front end employees, reinforcing my strong leadership and management capabilities. This position not only sharpened my ability to manage front end operations effectively but also deepened my skills in customer relations and financial management.
