Found that collected waste was 33% organic material and 23% plastic material by volume. Presented audit findings alongside management issues observed across campus. In this position, I identified prospective international partners for the English Language Institute (ELI), which is a department within the College of Professional Studies at Syracuse University. I was supervised by David Lind, the ELI Director, and Jeff Jiang, a global partnership recruiter at the ELI. Research process: I performed thorough website analyses of US and International English immersion programs, developed indices, and executed macro Excel functions. I produced a report wherein I presented 9 findings with graphs to depict the program information I had obtained from 10 international universities. These findings will be used to conduct outreach to said international universities who may be interested in establishing partnerships with Syracuse University to send students to SU for a study abroad experience based in intensive English Language courses.

In this position I was supervised by Kelly Flannery, the Finance Director of the Finance Department in the Metropolitan Government of Nashville, Tennessee. I was assigned to perform a peer city identification analysis to determine a set of peers or 'sister cities' for departments within Nashville to compare against and collaborate with in city planning. I used the Peer City Identification Tool (PCIT), created by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, to produce four sets of prospective peer cities for Nashville. I presented my findings in a report that contextualized Nashville's need for the study, discussed my research methods and the PCIT, and listed the identified peers.
