I love spending time in the outdoors - hiking around SLC, skiing in the Wasatch, exploring canyons in Utah's desert or splashing down rivers of the west. I am passionate about protecting these beautiful places and the greater world we live in. I continually strive to be a better environmental activist. Living in a place like Utah has made me keenly aware of immediate threats to our planet, such as extreme air pollution and imminent threats to water. As David Brower once said, ""There is no business to be done on a dead planet." Since my time working at Patagonia Salt Lake City, I have realized this rings more and more true; we will not get to enjoy "The Greatest Snow on Earth" if it stops snowing or see Utah's "Big Five" if our climate becomes unbearable.
