The first of its kind, The Ainsworth paved the way for the opening of downtown gastropub 121 Fulton Street in 2011. The Chester, an American eatery and biergarten located in the Meatpacking District, debuted in August 2013, followed by The Ainsworth Hoboken and The Ainsworth Midtown in March 2015 and September 2015, respectively. The Ainsworth’s newest locations — The Ainsworth Newark, opened in September 2017; followed shortly by The Ainsworth Kansas City and The Ainsworth East Village, which both opened in January 2018.This year, The Ainsworth has moved toward national expansion and has changed the brand to that of an upscale eatery focused on burgers, steaks and handcrafted cocktails.
