My job is to fill out work orders, file away various documents, deposit checks, manage each employee's daily work hours with the corresponding work order, maintain attendance records, mark employee vacation times and personal days, and answer the phone. Each task is different each day, depending on the work that needs to be completed.

In the fall of 2021, I accepted an internship at Lawrence Memorial Hospital as a screener. My job was to enforce the hospital’s COVID-19 rules to everyone that came into the hospital. After being a screener a few weeks, I was offered a position as an admissions representative in the Emergency Department. Primarily, my job was to register patients in Emergency Department. In addition, I completed various other jobs such as health insurance verification and checking in patients for triage, laboratory work, or radiology.

At Comfort of Home Healthcare, I was a patient care assistant. My job was to assist the patient with completing their essential needs, such as dressing, eating, transportation, and bathroom assistance. I worked with the patient one on one, five days a week. It was crucial to help the patient adapt to the recent changes in their live in the easiest and safest manner.
