- Barista work in a busy hybrid retail/hospitality environment

I was awarded a placement at the University of Sheffield to assist Professor Jonathan Ellis in research for an exhibition and book. The work involved close academic and cultural research, compiling and ordering research, working closely with a research partner and transcribing and handling sealed documents lent by Vassar College.

I worked closely with gallery curators, artists and fellow producers to plan and enact events responding to art exhibitions at Tate Liverpool. Our chief aim was to engage people often disconnected from the art world. This involved strategising city-wide and social media advertisement campaigns, coordinating activities for visitors to the gallery, volunteering at events as a gallery and activity assistant and managing and posting to Tate Liverpool’s Instagram account.
