I have a background in social research and history, with over 10 years' experience across the not-for-profit sector. I currently work in the women & girls sector and love my job as Programme and Impact Manager at GFS; I get to spend time with girls, help to tell their stories and shape interventions that make a difference in their lives, whilst working alongside passionate colleagues invested in creating a more gender equal society. I am motivated by meaningful projects where I can make a difference and have worked for both national and local charities in education, heritage and community development. In my spare time, I am Chair of a musical theatre & community arts CiC called What We Did Next, and on the Board of Trustees at Liverpool World Centre, promoting social and climate justice through global learning.
